I've put together a new site aimed at users looking for Photoshop text effects. According to Google Trends, there's significantly more people searching for text effects than layer styles, so I've made it my goal to reach out to that audience. Obviously "layer styles" is a fairly technical term, and "text effects" is probably what I'd call them too, if I was new to PS.

The new site features all the styles (or should I call them effects?) I've been selling here under my StyleWorks brand, plus approximately new 800 effects I've been working on for a while now. Many of the new effects fall into the same categories as before: metal, wood, glass, etc, but I've also branched out into new categories such as leather and gemstones. In total, there's over 1500 effects in the new set!

If you've already purchased my 2010 collection, you'll still want to take a look, as the new effects are really nice. There's over a hundred new clear glass effects, for example, using new lighting techniques for improved realism and better usability on dark backgrounds. Here's a few examples:
